Description: Wazmo Nariz, born in Chicago, had a brush with fame when he made this record in 1978. This is the UK release, one of Stiff-Records early efforts. A single, 7", 45 rpm record with two songs. The A side is Tele-Tele-Telephone. It is a high energy new wave song about trying to reach someone on the telephone without success. "Well, at least it isn't busy." Side B is Wacker Drive. A very familiar street to locals in Chicago but not sure if this is exactly what he's singing about. "I just want to wacker, wacker drive." The record is in very good shape. It has been played only a few times and always on a good turntable. It comes in it's original picture sleeve and plastic protective sleeve that it has always been kept in. See many other new, vintage and antique items at my other listings.
