Vintage Deco Tropical Barkcloth Fabric PILLOW Cover 30s 40s Palm Fronds Ferns

Description: DESCRIPTION: Beautiful vintage toss pillow covering / case made from a thick nubby barkcloth vintage fabric featuring a tropical sprays of foilage and flowers/buds. The background is cream with cocoa, light chartreuse, leafy teal green and crimsom buds/flowers. I have found this type of material to be referred to as a lighter weight barkcloth. It is very old from my Great Aunt's estate. The fabric case measures 21" x 19" and both the front and back are the same barkcloth fabric ~ Front and back shown in last two photos. CONDITION: The pillow case is as found. There are ties attached to one side but they would need to be replaced. they are very fragile. I can find no other flaws such as tears, holes, etc... There is some aging and discoloration / staining from use and decades of storage. I did not wash or press the cloth. This one has been in my personal collection for decades and stored in a linen cabinet. There are some very minor discolorations in areas from storage/age. I always leave the cleaning/treatment of our vintage apparel and fabrics to the collector who usually knows much better than I. :) Please take a look at all of the detailed photos for condition, etc... and please do not hesitate to ask questions.
