Description: For sale is Historic Bells of New Hampshire, written Eva A. Speare. Published in 1944 it is 6" x 9" with 48 pages, including the index. It is also illustrated with 14 b&w photos of various bells, churches and people. It includes the history of various bells across the state.The booklet is in 'very good' condition. It has the owner's name on the front cover, see images, and the address of a Mrs. Guy Speare in Plymouth. Unclear if this is the author or a relative. Those are the only writing in the booklet. The book is otherwise clean with minimal shelf wear. Looks like a lovely reference for anyone interested in local history. We have recently had a large donation of vintage books & pamphlets relating to bells, bell-ringing, and vintage percussion instruments. About 25 listings will be appearing on eBay soon.
