Description: Gorgeous "Lily" pattern spoon and fork made by Whiting Manufacturing in 1902. Both pieces are heavily embossed with lilies and leaves in the Art Nouveau style. The fork measures about 9 1/8" and weighs about 124 grams. The spoon measures about 9" and weighs about 108 grams. They are marked with Whiting's "Lion" and "W" emblem, "Sterling", as well as "Pat'd 1902" and "R'D 1902" on the back of both the spoon and fork. Both have the monogram "D" on the front and both retain a portion of an original gold wash on the serving ends. These are items from my Mother's sterling flatware collection.
