RARE VINTAGE SMITHS DIVERS BLACK DIAL WATCH c1960

Description: This is a fantastic Vintage and rare to find c1960 Smiths Divers Watch which is in working order and comes with a new strap. It winds up as it should and is a lovely looking watch. The case is in good condition but does exhibit some age-related wear from handling and use, which includes some wear to the glass with surface scratches and a star mark to the centre. We have also noticed, whilst it is in working order, after moving the hands manually to set the time it sometimes loses 5 minutes in a short period then continues to run normally. Additionally, we’re not sure how to set the date so cannot confirm if that function operates as it should so has been priced accordingly. It states "Great Britain" under the number 6. The back is inscribed water resistant to 3ATM, however, we cannot verify if the back has ever been removed so cannot guarantee if it is still water resistant. Therefore, if used on a daily basis we would recommend having it serviced and checked over.
