Description: RARE Vintage Paul Storie Pottery Pitcher Hand-Painted Floral Bluebonnet Stoneware Marshall TX AS IS *** This beautiful vintage stoneware pitcher is hand painted with bluebonnet flowers in shades of green and blue, with a bit of pink around the top of the three flowers. Paul Storie Pottery Company was located in Marshall, Texas in the early 1980's. Paul Storie’s pottery was unique in its hand painted scenes in rich glazes, and is highly collectable. This pitcher stands about 7-5/8" tall, has a top opening diameter of about 5-1/4", and measures 7-1/2" from the back of the handle to the opposite spout. The bottom of the piece is stamped PAUL STORIE * MARSHALL, TX. In used vintage condition: third from final photo depicts one of two small bites in the glaze on the upper rim of the pitcher; 2nd from final photo shows a bump on the back side of the piece; final photo shows the handle with one hairline crack (see final photo).
