Description: Postcard - Main Street showing State St., New London, Conn. An early view with trolley tracks on the street, and horse drawn wagon & carriage. With the use of a magnifying glass some of the business signs can be seen. Published by the Metropolitan News & Pub. Co., Boston, Mass. Postmarked 1910 from New London, Conn. Condition issues: poor / fair condition - heavy bend at lower right corner, smaller bend at lower left corner, heavy wear at the upper left covner with much paper loss and a bend, small pieces out of upper edge, and somewhat heavy paper loss at the cornes and a little on the edges. NOT good condition, but a slightly different view of the area than usually seen. Expect a damaged postcard and you will not be disappointed.
