Description: MUTT AND JEFF #5 (DC 1941). KEY BOOK: This is the first magazine with the issue number printed on the book. Issue numbering began with #5. The first four issues were not numbered. Features MUTT & JEFF strips created by the great HARRY "BUD" FISHER. Also some "CICERO'S CAT strips by FISHER. Artwork by BUD FISHER and AL SMITH. This book is "very-hard-to-find". GOOD-VERY GOOD (3.0) condition. This is a sound copy of this book with excellent color and some of the original luster. The spine shows some wear with chewing at the top and bottom. The cover is fully detached at both staples. On the inside of the cover two small pieces of tape have been applied to the staple locations, attaching the cover to the interior pages. The staples firmly bind all interior pages (centerfold photo provided). The cover has some small tears at the edges in a few places. The inside covers show browning. Otherwise, the interior pages look cream. Shipping is $5.00 to the United States. Shipping will be combined for multiple purchases. I have lots of Golden, Silver and Bronze age comics for sale.
