Description: Beautiful hand blown glass paper weight in brilliant turquoise blue color features a large wide teardrop shaped bubble with a pointed base and a rounded cap on its top. Unusual shape of the bubble resembles a cone or vortex…? This bubble is centered and surrounded by 4 additional teardrop shape bubbles, equally spaced around the central cone. This piece measures 3” wide and nearly 2.5” tall and surface is free of blemishes. Slight scuffing noted on base. Pretty glass piece with an intriguing bubble shape. Max Miller worked at Redkey for short periods of time, making glass birds and paperweights that were sold in gift shops throughout Indiana. He sometimes used recycled glass pieces in his creations. The word RED is impressed inside the shape of a key on the base of many of his pieces, denoting RedKey IN.
