Description: One (1) small antique Japanese Satsuma ginger jar with top. Moriage (raised) decoration. Nobleman with two attendants. A slight twist locks the top in place. Meiji to Taisho Period 1880-1920's. Fair condition- wear to much of the gold and some losses to decorations (see pictures #9 and #12). Firing flaw (crack) on base. Measures 3 3/4 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches at widest point. See my other Satsuma pieces and other Japanese and Chinese antiques. Shipping will be by USPS Ground Advantage-$6.65 including insurance.
