It is hand stitched made of an indigo blue and white cotton fabric with a donut ring block pattern design, decorative white hand stitched needlework and blue chain stitched hand embroidered family names encircling the inside white rings. This beautiful blue signature style quilt is a precious keepsake signed with the names of a Missouri family. There is a double border edging trimmed with hand stitch embroidered stars and is lined in cotton batting, fully backed in a white cotton fabric. The quilt measures 84 inches long and 68 inches wide. It is in good condition, with only faint yellowing discoloration in one area and a small white patched mended repair (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique signature quilt art!
