The fabric we chose to create these projects was ultra suede which is easy to work with, readily available and comes in beautiful colors and patterns. Since the projects have a raw edge you need to choose a fabric that won’t fray. Leather, suede, vinyl, ultra-suede and some knits will work. You can use denim or other fabrics if you are going for a frayed edge look.
