Your camera mounts onto this formfitting cage with a 1/4"-20 slot and is secured both at the baseplate and with a screw on the side. The cage allows access to the camera's controls and hot shoe, and the base features a multitude of 1/4"-20 mounting holes as well as a single 3/8"-16 for attaching to a tripod. Multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes distributed along the sides and top of the cage, and it also sports two 3/8"-16 threaded holes with ARRI-style anti-twist divots on its top as well as a single 3/8"-16 threaded hole with ARRI-style anti-twist divots on the left side. Strap slots allow you to attach a camera strap if you wish, and threaded mounting holes in front of the cage enable mounting optional lens adapters. The cage is compatible with the FX3 original XLR handle.
