Description: This is an early 1960’s Gillette Slim twist which was made in England. It gained a lot of notoriety when it was featured in the Beatles movie “A Hard Days Night.” It has a unique white handle which is heavily ribbed and quite flat in design, tapering at the end becoming thinner. It is stamped on the blade deck with Brit.Pat. 694093. It is also unique with the TTO knob that sits just below the neck of the razor. It is not adjustable and it’s a no fuss razor. Throw in a blade and then twist and shave. The handle has tiny fissures on opposite sides of the handle which does not affect the quality of your shave. The handle and ribbing are in great condition. The top cap has slight smudges but carries a great shine. There is just light wear on the underside of the baseplate but the plating is very healthy. The TTO knob and butterfly doors operate smoothly and the razor has been cleaned and sanitized.
