Description: This piece was bought from the artist around 1991 in Ft. Lauderdale. It has a beautiful iridescent multi colored sheen that only raku pottery can produce. It is in wonderful condition with no scratches or dings. This is a rare sculpture because of its fine condition and it is not a copy in a numbered series. It is an original. The artist is George Tudzarov who signed his name Zaro for short. He specialized in Raku pottery while living and working in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with his wife at Tudzarov Studio Gallery for Contemporary Clay Forms. This sculpture is beautifully designed and fired using the Raku technique, resulting in multiple, subtle colors throughout the sculpture He passed away in 2000. This modern sculpture is a wonderful edition to your art collection and has the subtle sensual quality that makes it the perfect accent piece. It measures 18” high and has a footprint of 10” at the widest. It is definitely a statement piece that will receive many compliments . This piece will be well packed in a double box with at least 4” of insulation so that it arrives safely.
